What is GreaseMonkey Version Control?

GreaseMonkey Version Control is a project by Luke Stevenson. The objective of this project is to create a database-driven repository of GreaseMonkey Userscripts which allows for the archiving of previous versions, the release of production versions and the limited released of alpha and beta test versions through the same site.

It is also hoped that, later, the Userscripts released through this site will be able to check their status automatically and prompt the user when a new version is available (much like Firefox Extensions do now).
